"I think they're so cute!"

If you're like us, you're constantly checking in on the comings and goings of Ree's eldest daughter, Alex, on Instagram. It's always so fun to see where she's jetting off to or what her new favorite beauty product is. And once in awhile, she channels her mom and heads into the kitchen with a fun project like making soup in her slow cooker.

Her most recent adventure was being a co-host for her dear friend's baby shower, where she was tasked with making charcuterie cups to serve the guests. And though she swears she's "not artsy at all" and "making things that look aesthetically pleasing are not [her] forte," you'll beg to differ once you see them. "I think they're so cute!" she exclaims, and we totally agree! 🥰

Of course, we're really not surprised how great they look since she is the daughter of The Pioneer Woman, after all. But it's nice to know that something so fun and delicious is easy to assemble even if you aren't the most creative in the kitchen. She found her inspiration from Pinterest and created the look with easy-to-find store bought ingredients.

In disposable paper cups, she assembled skewers of grapes, layered meats and cheeses, baguette slices and cheese straws, and a decorative sprig of rosemary to finish off the look. She also used the cutest horseshoe cocktail picks along with the plainer gold ball picks that came with the cups. It's Texas, y'all, so naturally it needed a little Western flair! 🤠

What we love besides the ease of assembly is the versatility of charcuterie cups. You can use practically any kind of meats, cheeses, and fruit or veggies you want. Plus, though we love a regular charcuterie board, making individual servings is easier for guests at a large gathering. They're so perfect for parties! Make them for bridal or baby showers, as part of a holiday celebration, or just when you have a bunch of friends coming over.

Honestly, the only downside to seeing Alex's post is we want to make and eat them right now. But we suppose it's worth the wait while we order the supplies and make up an excuse to throw a party. Oh, and we might just buy that adorable gingham dress she wore, too! Doesn't it look so cute with cowboy boots?
